In the beginning, Keiran blamed Lake for something that was beyond her control. He made it his life’s business to torment her out of revenge. Keiran, along with his brother, Keenan, and best friend, Dash, are a threesome to be reckoned with. You don’t cross them unless you are willing to pay the consequences. Lake didn’t cross them intentionally, but she crossed Keiran, nonetheless. Along with her best friend, Willow and Dash’s sister, Sheldon, the girls do their best to survive life with the boys. However, over the years, hate turns to love and Lake and Keiran become each other’s worlds, albeit, unconventionally.
Fearless starts off with a bang. In an act of protection, Lake did something that gets her thrown in jail. Keiran is faced with the reality of what Lake has done and how he feels about it. Keiran is a complex puzzle with feelings that run deep but are guarded. We, the readers, are taken on quite a journey of emotional craziness. These boys are like their own mini-mafia and the girls hold their own, as well. I loved the fact that Lake is a woman wo can stand on her own and she is no longer a damsel in distress, but a powerful woman who can rescue her prince. Oh and the ending…the ending just made me so happy!
I don’t spoil in my reviews, so I can’t go too deep in my review without risking giving away important details. Suffice it to say, this book is fantastic and is full of all the feels. I will warn you, however, that when I say this book is dark, I mean it. Some of the things in the books in this series could be offensive to some.
B.B., also known as Bebe, found her passion for romance when she read her first romance novel by Susan Johnson at a young age. She would sneak into her mother’s closet for books and even sometimes the attic. It soon became a hobby, and later an addiction, influencing her life in a positive way.
Bebe has always wondered about the existence of her talent. When she finally decided to pick up a metaphorical pen and start writing, she found a new way to embrace her passion.
She favors a romance that isn’t always easy on the eyes or heart, and loves to see characters grow–characters who are seemingly doomed from the start but find love anyway.
