The moment everything changed didn’t happen in that cliché rockets-red-glare kind of way, it happened in the form of a waking nightmare. I caught my husband, my high-school sweetheart, the father of my children, balls deep in a sordid affair. That was when I gave up on men and love.
I didn’t count on the NHL’s golden boy, the beautiful, arrogant Cooper Stone turning my life and my hockey rink upside down.
My kids are why I wake up in the morning.
Hockey is what Cooper breathes for.
We’re from different worlds and places in our lives but when our hearts collided something so wrong and different turned into something so right.
Holy sex scenes! This is one steamy, hot, hockey romance you will surely love!
Parker runs a hockey rink that also rehabs injured NHL stars. From the moment Cooper Stone steps into her line of sight, Parker is thrown for a loop. He’s a sexy, hot, dirty-talking alpha male and when he sees something he wants, he doesn’t just go for it…he takes it. And he wants Parker from the moment he sees her step out of her truck the first morning.
This book is STEAMY! I’m talking scorching hot sexy times. But, first, the tension has to build and build it does. Parker and Cooper burn up with pages there so much heat in their stares. Parker is sassy and all kinds of fire and I loved her. She is a fierce momma bear to her kids, a sassy fun sidekick to her best friend and she handles Cooper, literally and figuratively.
Something So Right scorches from the first pages. There is a pesky problem that won’t go away and tries to cause all kinds of problems. Cooper never asks, just tells Parker how it’s going to be, but underneath it, he’s got this giant heart of gold. You can’t help but love him.
My only complaint is that I thought it was just a bit too long, but I guess I shouldn’t complain because longer book = more sexy Cooper.
If you’re looking for a sexy sports romance, heavy on the sexy times and light on the sports, with a side of tension and interference, then this book is for you! I highly recommend!
When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
