New Release, 3.5 Star review + giveaway! Princess by Sapphire Knight

Title: Princess
Series: Oath Keepers MC/Nomad #1
Author: Sapphire Knight
Genre: MC Romance
 Release Date: June 27, 2016

Biker bitch? Not this chick.

I can’t stand my father and his group of criminals and what better way to get back at my father, the President, then to sleep with one of them?

Poor little Prospect, he never saw me coming.

When my safety is jeopardized yet again by the MC, it’s not the Prospect to my rescue though, it’s a hell bound Nomad out for blood and my heart.

My Review:
3.5/5 Stars

I have mixed feelings about this book. I rarely start a review this way, but I was told to be honest, so I will be.

Here’s the thing…Princess isn’t new or unique as far as MC romances go. The MC members were kind of run of the mill. The hero, Viking, now he was WAY over the top. Surprisingly, it kind of worked for me. He was about as alpha as one can get, but he really did have a broken heart under all that anger and gruffness. He just needed the right woman to pull him out of the mire. What didn’t work for me was the hatchet and his “favorite way of killing.” **shiver**

Princess is…misunderstood. Her father is the president of an MC. He treated her mom like crap for years. Now to rebel against him, she decides she’s going to sleep with a bunch of bikers, then throw it in their and her father’s face. Ok. I can get behind a good rebellion. It was a solid plan, until it wasn’t. Viking really never her let it get off the ground. I’ll let you read and find out how. I’ll just say it was rather shocking and the reactions from others were even more shocking.

The plot was well-intentioned and was running along before taking a sharp left turn and then it got crazy good. It moved along and kept my attention and then shattered my little heart at the end. This was one of those books I really needed to talk to someone about.

Let’s not forget the sexy times, because isn’t that really why we read these? Like Viking, the sexy times were crazy over the top. I am pretty open minded and I was blushing and at one point I was flat out shocked. Princess just doesn’t know the word “no” at all and I don’t mean she was forced into anything, she just never said no when she wasn’t sure about something. The sexy times were very hot, so don’t read this one while waiting in line at the coffee shop.

A decent MC romance with some crazy stuff that will have you asking “what just happened?”

“What happened at the lake?” I interrupt, my jealousy nagging at me, wanting to know every single detail.“Not much. Cinderella painted her toenails when we first got there. Then she floated around the lake on a small air mattress and on the way back asked if your name was really Viking.”

Saint leans forward. “No fucking way. Her name’s Cinderella? The blonde one? I bet she’s a goddamn fairy tale in bed,” he finishes, eyeing Sinner.

Letting loose a deep growl, I slam my fist down on the table, hard enough to make the drinks bounce and everyone jump to catch them. I swear if he speaks about fucking her again I’m going to lose my shit. I’m not nearly buzzed enough to deal with bullshit comments about the woman I recently killed for.

“Damn, Vike, my bad.” He holds his hands up in surrender. He’s seen me get pissed, and no way in hell would Sinner be able to save his ass from my wrath.
