It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
The dumbest thing I’ve ever done.
I loved her. I lost her. Hell, I let her go. And then spent five miserable years without her.
To cope with the loss, I put pen to paper and wrote her a love story, knowing when she was ready she’d hear the words I couldn’t say all those years ago.
Turned out, not only would she hear them, but when Hollywood came calling, I made sure she got the lead role. After all, no one else could portray the character whom she’d inspired.
Now she’s within arms’ reach and finally, she’ll know the truth in my heart.
Because that other cliché, “Actions speak louder than words?”
I’m going to prove it.
My words may have brought Ava Banks back into my life; I have to be enough to make her stay.
Tessa Teevan writes such gritty, emotional reads and this one is no different and just as good!
Words I Couldn’t Say is the first in a spin-off from the Explosives series and features Jeremy and Sierra’s daughter, Ava. Ava is quite a character – goal driven and ready to take on the world, she is getting ready to head off to college in California to study acting. Ava’s best friend is her neighbor, Tucker. They have been best friends since they were little. One night, all that changes when they share a kiss. A few nights after that kiss, something happens that throws them for a tailspin.
The clever way Teevan brought them back together was so romantically good!
This is another emotional read from Teevan. I love second chance romances and this one is just too good for you to pass up. It can be read as a standalone, but make sure you read all her books, because she really is a fantastic writer. Tucker and Ava are great together and I laughed with them, I cried with them and I rooted for them right through the very end.
