The guys of TriForce Security are back! Remember the mysterious call from their dead friend’s lawyer? Yep, Hendy is not dead and this beautiful book is his story!
Hendy, retired SEAL, was presumed dead for years. His body recovered but not without severe scarring, which has scarred him mentally. When he starts alternative treatment with Dr. Presley Cole it is life-changing. Hendy is a complicated characters for reasons that are both obvious and not. Presley is not complicated. She is accepting and offers Hendy hope and more.
This book has so much heart. Boldt took a tough topic and treated it with respect and dignity. She gave us a character to root for in Hendy without forcing it. Presley was a great counterpart for Hendy. She was good for him, but not perfect. She had her flaws and that only made things seems more real. The TriForce guys are great, especially Kane, who is like Hendy’s inner voice her can’t ignore.
