This tight end is at the top of his game.
He’s good with his hands, even better with his sexy mouth, and the best at making me forget my own name. His—ahem—stats are perfect.
But I can’t fall for him.
He might be everything I want, all rolled into a glorious package of gridiron god, but there’s one teeny-tiny problem. The vile, loathsome team I’ve spent my entire life hating—my beloved school’s arch-rival?
This guy is their star player.
This is one rivalary you want to be a part of!
Two people on opposite sides of a storied college football rivalry – the head cheerleader for Ohio State and the star tight end for Michigan – + sizzling chemistry = one amazing read! Jay is swoonworthy – he is funny, persistent and sexy as sin. Kayla is one of the best book characters I’ve ever read – she is loyal, sassy and this girl knows her football! A girl after my own heart.
The opening few chapters of the book had me cracking up. They are at the wedding of Kayla’s BFF to Jay’s BFF, but Jay and Kayla don’t know who the other is. Kayla has been banned by her BFF, the bride, from talking about sports, especially football, with any of the men at the wedding because Kayla eats, sleeps and breathes football and has made grown men cry. Seriously. Several chapters later, when Kayla finally figures out that Jay is the tight end for the hated Michigan, her reaction to him and the situation had me crying tears of laughter. I could go on, but that wouldn’t be fair to you. Suffice it to say, there are a lot of great moments in this book, but none more so than The Moment. That was sweet, sexy and oh, so satisfying!
Along with a great plot and great writing, Sloane has given us a H and h you can root for and secondary characters that are a little bit over the top, but pretty close to perfect!
A must read sports romance!
