I received this copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I couldn’t help but like this sweet book. The book is divided into then and now. The book starts with Devyn and Riley in college and then events leading up to their one night together. Then the book skips forward five years and deals with the aftermath of that one night. I know it’s not a completely new concept, but I feel this book did it better than most. The two halves were not rushed, but there wasn’t too much either. The build up to their night together is done really well and you are actually rooting for it to happen. I won’t reveal anything about the second half, because that is the true gem of the book.
This is a stand-alone with a HEA.
