Graham Nichols’s main goal in life is to forget. Getting high, completely wasted, and running through a string of sexy blonds daily helps him achieve this task. But one night of partying lands him in a heap of trouble and sent back to the confinements of his hometown. Things can’t possibly get worse, right?
Sarah Morris can’t seem to run fast enough away from her past. She’s spent months trying to amend her ways, and is doing a pretty good job. She’s getting good grades, isn’t acting like a spoiled brat, and even works at the local grocery store. The last thing she needs is a distraction.
Enter Graham Nichols, the one mistake Sarah can’t escape.
Sarah and Graham have a past. They were each others’ first loves. Then, Sarah did the unforgivable and drove Graham away leaving him heartbroken and jaded. Graham went to college, while Sarah was forced to stay home. They both faced trials in their lives that eventually drives them back into each others’ lives. It’s not a happy reunion. However, they eventually realize they need each other and they are better when they have each other.
I don’t even know where to start with this one. I really, really liked it. It was real and a little angsty. Sarah was a great character – honest, flawed and a little bit selfish. Graham is just…swoon! He is angry and raw, yet you can feel the emotion coursing under the angry exterior. He and Sarah sizzle.
Graham is a great read. Second chance romance with just a little steaminess (I think appropriate for 17+ as sexual situations are implied and not descriptive) and a happily-ever-after that will make you smile.
(This can be read as a standalone, but it does include characters from book 1 – Bryce.)
Note to author: crossing my fingers for book 3 to be Kyle’s book. 😉
