I loved him more than life.
He broke me and he didn’t even know it.
I ran from him.
He didn’t chase me.
He never needed to, because he knew I’d come back.
He was right.
Death brought me home to him.
Drop dead gorgeous and filthy-mouthed with a smile that turns saints to sinners.
A casanova to his core.
My ex-best friend.
And the bad boy whose reputation precedes him—the same reputation I’m tasked with turning to gold… Or so they think.
Top Read of 2017!!
You seriously must read Casanova, the novel from one of my faves, Emma Hart!
Casanova is a second chance romance between formers best friends who end up hating each other. The book has a little bit of everything—former best friends who now hate each other, kooky family members, feelings galore, secrets, lies and everything in between.
From the first few pages of the book, I was hooked. There is reference to a big secret and I admit, I got sucked right on in. Not only was I addicted to the story, but Brett and Lani were each so endearing in their own ways that I fell right into book love with them. Brett and Lani are not perfect. In fact, they are both so very flawed and it makes them all the more real. Hart excels at writing, but it is her character development that shows her true genius. The plot weaves along easily keeping you invested and rooting for Brett and Lani because you know how perfect they could be.
Casanova was quite a ride from beginning to end and I loved every minute of it!
By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies – usually wine – and writes books.
Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.
She likes to be busy – unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.
