Heck, it wasn’t even black, white and gray.
Lines were not drawn between good and evil, and if they were, I would have jumped those suckers for fun.
But now it was simpler. It wasn’t black and white. Or gray. It was only one thing.
A crimson-tinted world. That was all I needed.
All I wanted.

Deathless picks up immediately following the events at the end of book 1, so if you haven’t read book 1, you need to.
As I said, this book picks up where book 1 left off on quite the cliffhanger. I won’t go into detail so as not to spoil it, but suffice it to say, but Anne Malcolm has written Deathless in the same sassy and fun way. Characters you never thought you would like suddenly become your favorite. Those who were once enemies are now working together. Then, there is Sophie, the sassy, powerful witch best friend who is out for blood.
The Vein Chronicles continues with this stellar installment in the lives of the supernatural!
