There’s a phrase: Still waters run deep.

But there’s more to it than that.

Because “still” doesn’t denote peace. Nor calm. Nor happiness.

It’s an illusion. It’s chaos.

The only way to handle chaos is to become it.

That’s what Lucy did. She created stillness out of the chaos tumbling inside her and called the most chaotic motorcycle club in the United States her family.

The Sons of Templar gave her chaos, friendship, family, danger and death.

But she wouldn’t want it any other way.

Then he came. The one who showed her that her handle on chaos was tumultuous at best.

Showed her how to stand still.

And how good it could be.

And how drowning in those waters comes as easy as breathing.

My Review:

4.5 stars!

Anne Malcolm has this way of sucking you in and throwing you into an emotional rollercoaster. This first book in a new series, Greenstone Security, will do just that.

Lucy is a bit jaded. She’s had a hard life with some tragedy that holds her back. She covers her pain with sarcasm and biting wit. Then she meets Keltan. At first she puts up a fight, but eventually, she gives in and he changes her life.

This is insta-love at its finest, folks. Even if you don’t like that kind of thing, you will be hard pressed not to love this book. Keltan is as alpha as they come, but he loves hard and he loves Lucy from the beginning. She is his air. Lucy, well, she took a little more time to fall in line, but once she did… she really did. These two had passion and fire and some serious chemistry. Serious! I’m not huge fan of insta-love, but for some reason, it worked for me here. I think it was the combination of Malcolm’s great writing and Lucy and Keltan’s backgrounds.

You get more than just the all-encompassing relationship. There are best friends, little sisters, club members, family friends and more. The secondary characters add a lot to the story, which is refreshing and important. There is so much goodness in this book that I won’t say any more. No way do I want to take that all from you!

This is a must read, so head on over and one-click this ASAP!

New Release:  5 Stars for Fatal Harmony by Anne Malcolm

Title: Fatal Harmony
Series: The Vein Chronicles #1
Author: Anne Malcom
Genre: Paranormal Romance

I may be the villain of the story, but at least I get a leading role.

Evil is a term thrown around history and literature as if it’s something so easily definable. A concept to fight against.

Evil doesn’t exist.

Neither does ‘good.’

Vampires do, though.

I just happen to be one.

I’ve cruised through the centuries managing to avoid all the wars, supernatural and human, but still going to all the best parties.

I would say I avoided bloodshed, but it’s kind of part of the whole ‘vampire’ thing.

I’ve lived on the fringes of a society that considered cruelty and sadism favorable character traits for almost five hundred years. Now I’m in the middle of a war that might just put my nonbeating heart in a lot of danger.

Battles, I can handle.

The impossible attraction between me and the vampire slayer, not to mention the penetrating gaze of the king of our race, on the other hand?

I might not get out undead.

My Review:

5 Stars!

I am going to just go big here…this book is AMAZING!

I love a good paranormal romance, but lately, all this shifter craziness has sort of turned me off the genre. Then, this book came along and my faith is restored! Fatal Harmony is a powerhouse of paranormal goodness! Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons and one sexy slayer! Oh yes, you will LOVE it!

Isla is an almost five hundred year old vampire who is unlike most of the other vampires. She has a soft spot for humans, doesn’t hunt innocent humans to feed and has become somewhat of a vigilante of justice, only killing the worst humans as a favor to a human detective. She is snarky and unafraid and pretty much says whatever is on her mind. She’s been around for a long time, so her references to past cultures is hysterical. Then there is her relationship with Thorne, the slayer. They are H-O-T! It is a strange pairing that works so well. The secondary characters add much to the story, as well, which I often find rare.

So, basically what I’m saying is…even if you are not a paranormal romance fan, you won’t be able to not love it!
